"It's sweet!" Adam frustratingly mumbles at Candice. "No! It's savoury!" Candice replies, a sureness in her eyes that was difficult to argue with. "It's definitely something sweet, Candice! The sugar definitely makes this something you could have for dessert..." "Adam, you don't understand. This is bacon. The salty richness, the crispyness... You just don't get it!" Candice sighs, throwing her hands in the air. You see, this was not the first time they'd had this argument. "Come, friends, let's take you on a journey to the beginning, the beginning of the great candy bacon dispute... All please keep your seatbelts fastened, your hands within the vehicle at all times as it's about to get bumpy." *A button is pressed* The world around you gets blurry. You hear a loud screeching noise and everything goes black. Everything slowly clears and you see a table filled with the most glorious food. The infamous mac 'n' cheese, a glorious potato salad, roasted chicken, garlic prawns and gravy. Endless amounts of food as far as the eye can see. "Every one, look over there..." A younger version of Adam and Candice sit at the table. The plates of food are piled to the brim. It's Christmas day and the year is 2014. "OK, Adam, let's try this candy bacon." The younger version of Candice says to Adam. They both grab one of these glowing pieces and take a bite. Adam turns to Candice, "It's sweet!" "No! It's savoury!" Candice replies, a sureness in her eyes that was difficult to argue with. "It's definitely something sweet, Candice! The sugar definitely makes this something you could have for dessert..." "Adam, you don't get it!" Candice sighs, throwing her hands in the air. The air flashes, the vehicle you're in shakes and you're back! Back to the future!!!
